Four Coalition Members killed in Action

February 24, 2009, Kabul, Afghanistan— Today, four associates of the coalition force and an Afghan civilian were annihilated by a bomb that was hit by their vehicles, according to the United States military. The catastrophe had occurred when these soldiers were on a tour of duty with the Afghan National Security Forces. In addition, there was a small combat between the militants and the Afghan National Army Soldiers. The Afghan National Army soldiers, who were backed up by the coalition’s strength, were able to kill 16 militants during a fight in a scouting investigation in the Helmand province. According to the US military, while the troops were policing the area, their party were ambushed. The soldiers counter attacked with snipers and dead eyes while the militants used firing mortars and grenade launchers. After this small battle, the soldiers took the number of improvised bombs that the militants possessed. The end of this fight was a defeat for the militants. The U.S. Forces-Afghanistan’s spokesperson believed that the militants will mislay their competence in operating the Hemland province.

This was a victory for the U.S. military. I hope that the Afghanistan militarist movements will come to an end. I hope that the U.S. military will return peace back to Afghanistan, restoring the paradise back to this land. I hope that this conflict will soon be over. However, the U.S. military still need to be cautious about the militants. Not only, they need to look out for ambushes and other dangerous accidents, they must make sure they tie up all loose ends when they are still in the country. If they did not, the country will not be stable, making all of their hard work, all for nothing. If the country is not stable, the anarchism might spread from this region to its neighbouring region, making a big but unwanted forest fire. Be careful, U.S. troops.
